Borneo
I spent a month moving through Borneo, Malaysia with a camera, following whatever unfolded in front of me.
Some days began deep in the rainforest. Others ended in busy markets, along harbors, or in cities where life moved just as unpredictably as the jungle. The work became less about chasing specific images and more about noticing patterns, how everything connects, even across completely different environments.
Wildlife, people, water, light, motion. Nothing exists in isolation here.
This is a collection of those observations.

People & Culture
Borneo left a lasting impression on me. An incredible blend of dense rainforests, remarkable wildlife, and deeply rooted communities. As we made our way between remote regions, river villages, and the vibrant cities, I captured not only the wildlife and scenery but also everyday moments of life unfolding along the way.
These images offer glimpses into the rhythm of life in Borneo. From village scenes along the river to the energy of places like Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, and Lahad Datu, as well as quieter moments on Liberan Island. Faces full of character and quiet strength. These are just a few of the people I had the privilege of meeting along the way.
Danum Valley
Danum Valley was one of the most unforgettable parts of the journey. An ancient rainforest teeming with life, where every step felt immersive and unpredictable.
From guided treks through dense jungle to fleeting wildlife encounters, each moment carried a sense of discovery.
These images are a reflection of that experience. Glimpses of wildlife, quiet moments, and the feeling of being surrounded by one of the oldest rainforests on earth.
The Kinabatangan River
The Kinabatangan River offered a different perspective of Borneo. One shaped by the movement of water and the constant sense of what might appear next. Drifting along the river at sunrise and sunset, the landscape felt alive in a quieter, more subtle way.
Wildlife reveals itself here and in fleeting moments. Along the banks, in the trees, and just beyond the surface. Each outing carried a sense of anticipation, where no two passes felt the same.
These images reflect that experience. Glimpses of wildlife, shifting light, and the rhythm of life along the river.
